Autumn's LaughterAutumn liked her sleep.
There was simply no getting around the fact. As far as Autumn was concerned, once she was safe and snugly wrapped deep in slumber, there were few things that could bring her back out of it - unless she wanted to wake up, of course.
But at the moment she didn't want to wake up. She was lost in a wonderful dream where she was lost in a haunted house, running from things that moaned and whispered terrible things in her ear. Yet it wasn't the running or the ghosts that thrilled her so much; it was what they promised if, or when, they caught her - which, knowing the nature of such dreams, they would. Something sweet, they
Hey, Kid. (PDC)The day was as soft as bedsheets, blue skies lacing past the window, pigeons peering in and cooing softly. She was laid back, at peace with the world, smiling softly, holding tiny hands that gripped onto her thumb, so tightly, so strong... The birth couldn't have gone better. She had woken up after the operation, as if for the first time; they'd handed her this divine bundle, and told her that she was hers. Her baby. Her darling little girl.
She was learning fast, already gurgling and giving half-squeals; she'd be a fangirl in no time.
He chuckled, wiped a tear away with his sleeve, and took a slow step forward. The father glanced up at him,

Charity BallsDearest Karen,
I never wanted to be that person, you know. That overly-sentimental, fatherly figure that tells stories from the “good old days” and smokes cigars because he doesn’t really care about getting lung cancer anymore. And I’m sure, wherever you are, you’re laughing your little blonde head off, because you never would have expected it. You married a rebel, and now look at me. I’m normal. I fit in. I go with the flow and it’s ridiculously easy.
It’s also ridiculously boring, you know. I didn’t realize how freaking reliant I was on you to entertain me until, well, you weren’
Everything You Don't KnowDear Dad,
I bet you never thought you'd hear from me again. Truthfully, I'm just as mind blown as you are that I'm writing this. But since the zombie apocalypse is upon us, I figured that there are a few things that you should know. A few things about me that may interest you. I want you to know what your words and actions really did to me.
Because of all the things you said and did, I'm really messed up in the head. Did you know that throwing insults at and slapping your kid can really mess them up? I'm amazed that I don't have self confidence issues. Though I suppose the effects were worse when I was still living with you two at home. I u

"Mari, when I'll be able to get such cover of my optical?" Said Sari.
"We're almost there, Mom." Said the black and yellow femme .
Mariana left her mother stand in her shoulders. The two were walking slowly with care not to bump into anything. Mainly because the small Mayara was running around the house. And you know how it is. Should be careful in a home where the adults have more than 3 meters tall and the baby is only 1.30 m.
Mayara was just running like crazy through the house because Daddy Prowl was showering. At least today she does not scribbled the wall. And she was not running where where Sari and Mari were walking.
BirthGawain couldn’t believe how close he was to losing them both.
It was a good damn thing that they had to go to that wedding on the mainland. Of course, it would have been bad form if Leto wasn’t present, seeing as she was one of the bridesmaids there. (The bouquet she held did not live past the end of the vows. It was burned naturally in his love’s hands.) The Arcanine and Zoroark seemed happy enough, from what he understood of the entire ceremony and such. There were other guests from the hotel; at least, he assumed they were. But he could not recall face nor name, having discarded them from having importance in his life.

It was another bright yet chilly autumn day when Madeline had decided to go for a walk in the park. She was accompanied by her polar bear Kumajiri who was walking on all fours right next to her, sniffing for food. She was giggling a little at the sight when someone bumped into her by accident. "O-Oh! S-Sorry eh, I didn't mean to run into you like that don't ya know!" The stranger raised a brow at her before shrugging smiling at her, "No problem Alice. See ya around!" The person walked off and left Maddie standing there. "It's Madeline...." she whispered to herself and staid in that spot for a few minutes before walki

VexedVexed. That was exactly the word for how Masaki felt at the moment. Incredibly vexed. Frustrated with Eita, frustrated with Arioch, and most of all frustrated with himself. He paced his house irritably before finally settling down on a sofa with a cup of tea and trying to work out what on earth had made this day go so... so.. difficult.
Eita's words still burned in his mind. His student had called him out on his playing games with Arioch's feelings. The younger male's words had cut right through him and at first he'd been shocked to silence. Simply staring back at Eita. In disbelief that Eita was being so blunt, and in disbelief that the young man had seen through his wall that clearly. He didn't like it and it had put him on the defensive, getting riled. Words had gotten heated and Eita had actually taken a swing at him. That attack turning into a brief scuffle between master and student and ended with Masaki pinning Eita.
"You've gotta quit playing these games! It's not good for him
Vernon and Azelea piece Vernon took his turn putting the children to bed, and went to find his wife. He tried not to look at the grandfather clock in the parlor, but he couldn't help but do so. It was only nine at night, so he wasn't allowed to get grumpy until around eleven, when his eldest daughter was supposed to come home.
He was glad to see Alysta so happy, and he knew she was of age to date. But he didn't have to be happy about it. It was his job as her father and guardian to be protective, overly so, even. So far, Keane had given Vernon no reason to dislike him, except for the fact that he was courting Alysta. The boy was a few months older than her, and as charming as a prince. He was good to Alysta, and seemed to care for her greatly. But Vernon swore if the boy ever hurt her, he'd be six feet under before he could defend himself.
Alysta was obviously in love. She went about her day everyday smiling, humming, and
A Story to tellSometimes, we need a little help, every now and then. And when the job is usually tough due to difficulties, help is almost appreciated. This is the story of Tony…
Tony auditioned for a show called Total Drama Tween Tour, and while some people teased him about it, saying he would be dead weight, one of the first vote-offs… He managed to shut them up, by going rather far in the contest, even finding love in a fellow contestant, Winter, who tutored him, and promised to help him with his learning difficulties.
Eventually, the show would end, and everyone would head back home. Tony kept in touch with Winter, and they talked on Sky
Broken NowI used to love this house. I used to love how the sunshine billowed across the wide wooden planks and escape through little cracks in the plaster. As a child I had loved running through, trying to catch the glittering dust. It had been in vain, but six year old me had never cared about that. How times change. For me, this house had once been a happy place. Living in it for my whole life, right up until now at eighteen, had made me dream of one day starting my own family here. You know, watching my own kids grow up in the house where I grew up. But I don’t love this house anymore. It’s a sad, broken place now. And even the sunshine
MothersClosing the door behind the woman, Hero retreated back into his room and turned off the drama he had been watching. What really pissed him off is the looks of complete serenity on the faces of the people in it after they...well...yeah, he wasn't going to think about the rest.
Maybe he should have been more pissed off at not getting any.
He slapped himself, disbelief probably all over his face. He took a step back to check the bathroom mirror. Yep: he looked dazed and disappointed.
But disappointed over what? They had a good make up session up until she picked up her stuff and left.

An Epic Adventure Together A warm gust of wind tugged at Minah's ear as she walked a familiar route around the city. It was mid-afternoon and pleasant outside. The sun was shining, but it wasn't yet beating down her neck. Her ipod played "Never Surrender" on repeat, and it was getting her pumped up. As if today was the day for an epic adventure. As if today, she could take over the world.
She kept on walking, smiling slightly to herself, when out of the corner of her eye, she glimpsed a very familiar figure. "Kristen!" Minah exclaimed, "I was hoping I'd run into you!"
"Hey! Oh? Why's that?" Kristen quizzically asked.
"Well, I was just wondering if you wo

Running. Always running I thought to myself as I took a left into another ally and found myself trapped at a dead end.
“Doesn’t look like you will be getting out of this one princess.” The thug snickered, slowly inching closer and pulling out a knife. Such idiots I thought. Do they honestly think that I, Star, with all my power, would be so easily disposed of by a mere knife? Out of habit my hands began to glow a dark pinkish color, powering up and waiting for me to blast these knuckleheads out of here. Loki’s warning to be careful where I used my powers flashe

You have lots of friends but you don’t really have one
You have a boyfriend but he treats you like trash
You have two parents but on their agenda you’re last

Broken GirlA girl full of anger but they play with her heart
Filled with rage and deep sadness they pull her apart
With tears streaming down her face she screams at the sky
Filled with so much turmoil but she doesn’t know why
Constantly at war she battles herself
To her, outside forces are of no help
Fickle emotions toy with her mind
Filling it with lost hope and the love she’ll never find
They tear her heart out and she sobs to the ground
No comforting hand or kind eye can be found
So alone is this broken girl she’s locked in a silent Hell
She curls up inside herself, alone, afraid, sad and deprived
Of love she doesn’t thin
Rocky Mountain ClimberI’m a rocky mountain climber trying to get to the top
But a landslide of troubles keeps pulling me down and each time I get close I have to stop
But no matter I’m going to try again
So I can touch those cotton candy clouds before I descend
I’m gonna fly high and touch the sky and nothin’s gonna bring me down
Look all around you the worlds out there and it’ll take more than a rocky mountain land slide to bring me to the ground.
Sky sailing through a dusty breeze
Dirt in my eyes makes it hard to see
But even though times are dark

The BeastThe Beast
I’m running for my life. This thing, I’m not sure what it is, it wants me. I’ve heard rumors. Rumors of a big, ugly, terrifying beast that hunts down people and eats them, alive. I didn’t heed the warnings, I just went on my way like I normally do. “Every morning I go for a hunt in the woods, why should today be different?” I reasoned with myself. That wasn’t reason talking though that was my own stubbornness. It was cold and cloudy; it would probably rain soon so I thought I’d get a head start. Now I am running for my life.
Soon after spotting a nice buck I saw the beast.
RunningI may feign distaste for running but in truth it is one of the most pleasurable things that I have experienced.
The feel of the wind wiping through my hair and around my body. Wrapping around me quite like a cloak only to be shed of my skin like a raindrop that’s fallen onto a waxy leaf.
I live for the pleasure of the fresh air that swoops into my lungs like a swallow and dances around for a brief time only to be expelled back into the river of air flying around me. I crave the feel of my muscles working, my arms pumping at my sides and my legs racing the ground like that of a deer.
Wiping my hair back I laugh into the sky as I p
Marry me?We sit on his bed together and we are finally alone. His brother is a sweetie and a great friend but… I came to be with him not his brother.
We are quite for a while, we don’t need to talk only be together and we can feel everything that is not said. His cold hand reaches for mine and he holds it for a while before turning to me with a smile on his face. He grabs my shoulders and pulls me close and my arms wrap around his neck in a sweet embrace. He runs his fingers through my hair whispering how much he loves me and in between words he kisses my cheek. Then pulling away, just a little, we begin to kiss.

Rope dug into Patrick’s wrists as he struggled to free his hands. His hot, damp breath washed over his face, trapped by the fabric sack secured over his head.
A floorboard creaked. Patrick froze, his back rigid against the chair, and strained his ears. Another creak.
“Hello?” he called.
The sound of swishing fabric.
“Who’s there? Where am I? Why’d you bring me here?” Blurred memories swam through his mind: drinking at the bar; stumbling home; a shadow sweeping out from an alley.
Fingers grasped his chin and jerked his head upward. “Hush.” A woman’s voice.
